Ann Kilminster is a self-taught artist, who has been fortunate to attended workshops both in Montana, USA, and England. During these times she has studied alongside some of today's most famous wildlife artists, the late Bob Kuhn, Robert Bateman, Terry Isaacs, John Seerey-Lester, Alan Hunt, & Rod Lawrence, and not forgetting her mentors in Montana, Jack and Jessica Hines, both the most wonderful artists and friends.
Through the love of Flatcoated Retrievers, Ann decided that I wanted to give something back to the breed she loves so much. So started producing limited edition prints and currently gives an annual donation from the proceeds of these to Cambridge Veterinary University for their research and DNA testing into the incidence of cancer in Flatcoated Retrievers and other breeds. So far over £4.300 has been raised through the sale of her prints worldwide.
Ann’s work has been exhibited in The Kennel Club, London, Dave Hodges' Gallery in Big Timber, Montana and Bristol.
Her cold Cast Bronze sculptures are produced in Somerset, England, to the highest specification. Prints are also produced on high quality watercolour papers using lightfast inks, or stretched on canvas ready for framing.
If you commission work from Ann she provides a full service, from discussing the initial concept through to framing the final piece. Ann will also consider commissions for sculptures.
In recent years Ann has extended her range to wildlife, horses, birds & the countryside .
